Ben Fox, the creator of a new book website, Shepherd, reached out to me asking for a list of books I’d recommend like my novel The Unraveling, Volume One of The Luminated Threads.
The Shepherd website, still in Beta, is presenting a new way to discover books – through recommendations by authors.
After a bit of thought, I realized my heroine, Annmar, faces adversity without backing down. She’s determined, like the heroines in my favorite books, stories I’ve returned to many times because I can’t get enough of their worlds and messages of perseverance. Here are my favorite five:
