Six Sentence Sunday #2

Posted July 8, 2012 by Laurel Wanrow in Writing, YA Novels / 2 Comments

I enjoyed last week’s Six Sentence Sunday posts so much I’m in again. I’ll continue with another snippet from my YA novel Seaside Sorcery, this time from the hero’s POV. (My chapters alternate in this story.) So here’s Ty’s reaction to meeting Coral…a teenage witch he’d like to see more of.

Her hair fascinated him, its shells and the ones in her necklace, and below that…whoa. Clearly, she wasn’t afraid of being different.

He shook his head. What had gotten into him? She was just a witch, like any other in Tern Bay. Or was she?
