I’ve returned from the Put Your Heart In a Book Conference this weekend with a win for my science fiction romance Passages! What a thrill to have your photo and name up on the big screen at a local conference and then–through a pounding heart–hear your name called as a winner. My chapter sisters from Maryland Romance Writers positively screamed me out of my seat. Awesome excitement! Then I sat back and cheered as two of them won their categories in the Golden Leaf Contest.
New Jersey Romance Writers does a great conference. I had a great time connecting with old and new friends, attending workshops and pitching to agents and editors. Now back home again, I’m settling into my writing schedule and editing The Farm.
