Nature’s Vanishing Trick

No kidding, this is the best short video promoting nature that I’ve seen on twitter in forever! Please watch and share!

Robert Macfarlane posted his teen daughter Lily’s video on his Twitter feed and has since posted it to Vimeo with encouragement to share, because everyone needs to understand (in their words) “why biodiversity loss, extinction & vanishing species really, really matter.”

Yeah, they do, and we are feeling the pinch of disappearing habitat everywhere. I can barely stand to drive on my local highways because the median and exit ramp trees & vegetation are being removed for expansion, I assume. But does it have to be completely removed? After seeing this, I’ve written my representatives.

According to the Vimeo description, Lily Macfarlane is a ‘youth ambassador with Action for Conservation, a group working on conservation charity projects with 12 to 17 year olds.

Go, Lily, and go, Action for Conservation!
