Happy Book Birthday to Keepers of the Sea Cliffs!
I’m excited to release the 4th in The Windborne series.
Salm and Luna’s story evolved from a much shorter story that I wrote during a novelette writing workshop in the spring of 2018. The story just flowed and was complete at the end of the 4-week session. But when running it through my online critique forum, I discovered it didn’t pack much punch. Why was Luna afraid to love Salm? Beyond hitting it off, why should they be together? And who was she really–what was she dealing with–beneath that quiet front that she shows in Lost Whisperer of the Seas?
I dug deeper. And in my characters I found strong and independent people who were standing up for family and the things they loved–which they had to do before they could stand up for themselves.
I hope my readers enjoy getting to know Salm and Luna–and their families–as much as I did!
