Still in color…

Book Quote Wednesday ~ #pound on 11/25/2020

It’s #BookQW and surprise magic ‘pounds’ our heroine. More from Chapter 3: Leaves crushed right beside them. Book Quote Wednesday ~ #regret on 11/18/2020

It’s #bookqw and unusual ‘regret’ makes our hero pause. More from a point in the story where our heros can’t eliminate a mysterious pest that is devouring the autumn harvest, and have trouble with renegade hands hired to help them. Read on in Chapter 25: Jac blew out an exasperated puff of air, clearly ready […]

The door to the factory opened, admitting a brief racket and Mr. Shearing. Broad-shouldered and fit, save for […]

Book Quote Wednesday ~ #pleasure on 10/28/2020

It’s #BookQW and when Fern is in trouble, it’s Cor’s ‘pleasure’ to help. Again, a #BookQW word that I don’t seem to use much. But this quote in Fern’s point of view in book 2 of my series–Cor’s story!–lets me point out that Fern’s story continues as the friendship between these two develops. More from […]
